TBC-ME Internship Agreement Framework
Introduction & Purpose
The TBC-ME Internship Program is designed to foster the academic and professional development of university and college students by engaging them in practical work experiences within a dynamic business consultancy environment. This framework outlines the principles, commitments, and expectations that govern the relationship between TBC-ME and its interns.
Scope of Application
This agreement applies to all students participating in the internship program at TBC-ME, regardless of department, role, or duration.
Internship Types: Full-Time, Part-Time, Remote, On-Site, Hybrid.
Duration: Typically ranges from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the intern's availability and program alignment.
Supervision: Each intern is assigned a direct mentor or supervisor for guidance, performance tracking, and support.
Enrolled in an accredited university or college.
Academic background relevant to the role (e.g., Business, Marketing, Technology, Research, Design).
Proficiency in basic tools and communication skills.
Availability during the agreed internship period.
Adhere to company rules, policies, and ethical standards.
Maintain confidentiality of all company and client data.
Participate actively in assigned tasks, meetings, and team collaborations.
Submit required deliverables and progress reports on time.
Communicate proactively with assigned supervisor about any issues or delays.
Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
Deliver clear task outlines and expectations.
Assign relevant, real-world projects aligned with the intern's skills and learning objectives.
Conduct onboarding and role-specific orientation.
Offer regular check-ins, feedback, and a final evaluation upon completion.
Exhibit professionalism and integrity at all times.
Respect colleagues, clients, and organizational values.
Avoid conflicts of interest or unauthorized use of company assets.
Dress appropriately as per workplace or virtual meeting etiquette.
Schedules will be defined based on internship type and academic obligations.
Interns are expected to attend during agreed hours and notify supervisors in case of absence.
Remote interns must be available during core hours or as scheduled for team meetings.
Interns will receive structured feedback at mid-point and program completion.
Evaluation criteria include: punctuality, communication, initiative, teamwork, quality of work, and adherence to deadlines.
Final deliverables or presentations may be requested as part of program closure.
Interns must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before beginning work.
Any intellectual property (IP) developed during the internship remains the exclusive property of TBC-ME.
Interns must not disclose or use any internal data or materials for external purposes.
The internship may be terminated by either party with prior written notice (minimum 7 days).
Grounds for termination include breach of confidentiality, unethical behavior, academic dishonesty, repeated absence, or poor performance.
A Certificate of Completion will be issued upon successful fulfillment of the internship scope.
Letters of recommendation may be provided at TBC-ME's discretion.
This framework does not constitute an employment contract. It exists to guide and protect both the intern and the organization through a mutually beneficial, transparent learning engagement.
